Please join us in welcoming Dr Luis Mezzomo to our study club! This session introduces the principles and clinical applications of guided implant surgery, emphasizing its advantages in precision, efficiency, and patient outcomes. Participants will learn how to develop a “virtual patient” by integrating digital imaging and diagnostic data for accurate treatment planning. The lecture also explores the capabilities and versatility of various implant planning software, highlighting their role in enhancing surgical predictability. Through real clinical cases, attendees will observe how guided implant surgery is implemented in practice, from planning to execution. By the end of the lecture, learners will have a clear understanding of digital workflows and how guided techniques can improve implant placement and overall treatment success.
Key takeaways from this lecture will include:
1. Recognize the advantages of guided implant surgery.
2. Comprehend the process of developing a virtual patient.
3. Discover the strengths and versatility of different implant planning software.
4. Observe the use of guided implant surgery in a variety of clinical scenarios.
